BSL is currently assisting a German client in reviewing and strengthening its international trademark portfolio.
The project focuses on verifying whether the client’s current products, as well as those it plans to commercialize over the next three to five years, are adequately protected by its existing trademark registrations in the main markets of interest.
For each country, we assess whether the client’s products are properly covered and, where gaps are identified, we consider the most appropriate solution to address them.
This is a detailed and time-consuming review, and our current work is focused in particular on India and Korea, where we are assessing the existing registrations, the relevant product coverage and the available options for strengthening the client’s protection.
In India, previous registration attempts have faced obstacles due to similar trademarks already on the register; BSL is analysing the available options and developing strategies to improve the chances of securing effective protection for the client’s brand.
Working with a reliable global network of local agents is essential to provide the client with up-to-date information and efficient solutions.
