BSL is assisting an Italian company in the review and negotiation of the contractual guarantee package for the supply of high-value equipment in the energy sector.
The work focuses on the coordination between the underlying supply agreement and the related Performance Bond and Warranty Bond, with particular attention to the amount and duration of the guarantees, the conditions for their issuance and enforcement, and their alignment with the relevant payment milestones, FAT and SAT procedures and warranty obligations.
The assignment also involves the review of the upstream contractual arrangements, with the aim of ensuring that the obligations assumed towards the customer are, as far as possible, consistently reflected in the relationships with the manufacturer and other suppliers involved in the project.
